Some Twitter users did not find it funny after the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission EFCC via their twitter handle this evening announced that they will be embarking on a nationwide walk against corruption on saint Valantine’s day tomorrow.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, will tomorrow, February 14, 2020 organise a nationwide walk against corruption to mark this year’s Saint Valentine’s Day. The EFCC is collaborating with the Ministry of Youths & Sports Development and the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC on the national event, which will largely be youth-driven, aptly tagged: “Nigerian Youth Walk against Corruption.”

Why not make it a Walk for the Rule of Law instead? You cannot eliminate corruption without first ensuring that the Laws of the land are followed and enforced.
