Meet TwinsDntBeg: Ghana’s Most Influential Photographer’s Making Africa Proud

Emmanuel and Samuel Appiah Gyan have proving beyond any doubt that passion supersedes everything in life and is the smoothest high way to attain success.

They both graduated with degrees in Post Harvest Technology (Samuel) and Landscape Architecture (Emmanuel) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology but gave up on their certificate and job search and took to photography alongside blogging.

Though I (Young Endy) heard of them during their university days, I had opportunities to hangout with them on campus and outside campus during my stay in Ghana.

It wasn’t an easy journey for them especially coming from the backdrop of society who considered them university graduates that are suppose to go looking for jobs with their Curriculum Vita not taking photos, they were resilient and wanted to prove to the world that a blend of hard work with passion for what you enjoy doing will take you places most people will not envisage for you.

They then establish a niche for themselves by choosing brand names that were catchy and easy to use to win client, the names spark curiosity once you wear them.

From there initial brand name as Twinsdntbeg which blew them up on campus, they then added SwagofAfrica which became the official brand name for their photo works.

SwagofAfrica is now the official photographers for the president of the Republic of Ghana, Mr. Nana Akufo Addo and also the official social media managers for the second lady, Mrs. Samira Bawumia.

Twinsdntbeg also handle the road management works of sensational Ghanaian female best selling artist, Becca with other deals and endorsements trooping in every single day.

Both SwagofAfrica and Twindntbeg went viral with wishes flying in from all angles, especially from celebrities whom they have worked with in the past, present and then future ones who have targeted them as potential hardworking talents to work with.

The top Ghanaian photographers TwinsDntBeg over the weekend represented Ghana in Hollywood at the NAACP Awards 2020. Kind courtesy Guba Awards, the ace photographers brought live reports on the red carpet as well as back stage shots.

The 51st NAACP Image Awards ceremony, presented by the NAACP, honoring outstanding representations and achievements of people of color in motion pictures, television, music, and literature during the 2019 calendar year. The ceremony, which took place on February 22, 2020 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, was broadcasted live on BET.

TwinsDntBeg Jnr also paid a visit to Hollywood actor, Jamie Foxx, the popular photographer expressed his happiness after he was welcomed to the residence of the actor in the United States of America. He challenged others to step out of their comfort zones and make a move.

TwinsDntBeg Jnr wrote: “I was scared to go to LA, not because it was my first time but the fact that I didn’t know what awaited me. A lot of us are always scared to make a move thinking about what if they fail or don’t get what they want. Today I want to tell you to push your fears aside and make a move.

“It was an honor to be at the residence of this amazing personality @iamjamiefoxx. Thank you @dentaa_show for believing in us.”

Today, I say congratulations to Emmanuel and Samuel for being a source of motivation to many graduates out there.
