The Governor on Saturday invited the crippled beggar named, Edwin Egede to the Governor’s Lodge in Aba where the Governor personally presented him with a brand new customised Tricycle (keke).
Before meeting the beggar, the Governor had already sent some persons to ask him how best to assist him abandon begging permanently, he said he could drive a keke if it is customized to allow him use his hands to do what legs can also do.
The Governor also challenged him to stop begging and use the keke to support himself.
The crippled begger, Edwin Egede is from Cross River State and is married with children.
