The Governorship Candidates of the people’s Democratic Party and Accord Party where absent at the 2023 Rivers State Governorship debate Organized by the Rivers Debate Group (RDG).
The Rivers’ Debate Group (RDG) led by members of the Rivers’ Entrepreneurs and Investors Forum (REIF) hosted some governorship candidates in Rivers State on a debate ahead of the March 11 election in the state.
The group disclosed that five governorship candidates where selected out of the 18 candidates in the state to participate in the debate that, according to them, will usher in the next governor of the state.
However the absence of two Party Candidates In Persons Of Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs Of The Accord Party And Mr. Sim Fubara Of The PDP Got People Asking.
The Five Candidates Invited For The Governorship Debate Includes Tonye Cole Of The APC, Sim Fubara Of The PDP, Magnus Abe Of The SDP, Dumo Lulu Briggs Of Accord Party And Chief Com. Beatrice Itubo Of The Labor Party.
